Yuchai Marine Electric recently received the type approval certificate for its YC6CAXN series monogas engines from the Hainan branch of the China Classification Society (CCS). To date, Yuchai has obtained CCS certification for several series of monoga engines.<\/p>\n

The YC6CAXN series single-cylinder engine is Yuchai Marine Electric's largest displacement and most powerful CCS-certified gas engine. With a bore of 215 mm and stroke of 320 mm, it achieves a maximum power output of 1103 kW. It combines high power with low fuel consumption, and its emissions comply with the second stage of the GB15097 standard for marine engines and IMO Tier II NOx emission limits. This fills a need in the company's monogas engine offering in this power range, effectively meeting market demand for large displacement, high power gas engines. This further expands Yuchai's gas engine portfolio and paves the way for new product development for 2025.<\/p>\n

Obtaining the type approval certificate for the YC6CAXN series single-gas engine is a significant achievement for Yuchai Marine Electric in its gas engine program, which further strengthens its competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
